Thank you for the birthday wishes! I have certainly been through quite the rollercoaster this past year! I learned that TRUE friends are few and far between, but a handful of REAL friends is all I need and they are the most valuable treasure in the world to me. I learned that I REALLY don’t give a single fuck about owning a car or a house or nice clothing or fancy jewellery. In fact, I hate owning useless things. I prefer to collect amazing experiences and memories. Although I’m spending my birthday in a plane, all your kind words are keeping a smile on my face! Thank you! Happy birthday to @john5official and Matt Shadows as well, birthday buds!

When you listen to music, multiple areas of your brain become engaged and active. But when you actually play an instrument, that activity becomes more like a full-body brain workout.
From the TED-Ed lesson How playing an instrument benefits your brain - Anita Collins

Shred that guitar, toot that horn, rattle those keys… it’s good fer yer neurons!
